New drug combo tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a new drug, pevonedistat, when given with an existing drug, ibrutinib. It is for adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back or stopped responding to other treatments. The goal is to see if this combination can help control the cancer by blocking enzymes the cancer cells need to grow.
