Scientists scan bodies to unlock secrets of diabetes hormones

NCT ID NCT07398300

Summary

This study uses a special full-body PET scanner to see how two natural gut hormones (GIP and GLP-1) affect how the body uses sugar and how blood flows to different organs. It involves healthy volunteers and people with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to gather detailed information to better understand how the body processes sugar after a meal.
