Doctors use scans to predict how lung cancer will respond to treatment

NCT ID NCT04151940

Summary

This study aims to learn how advanced lung cancer responds to a combination of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation by closely watching changes on PET/CT scans. It will enroll 80 patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer who are starting this standard treatment. The main goal is to see if early scan changes can help doctors better predict which patients might benefit most from the therapy.
