Summary

This study aimed to better understand head and neck cancer by watching how it uses sugar. Researchers used a first-of-its-kind full-body PET scanner to track a radioactive sugar tracer in 7 adult patients before and after their radiation therapy. The goal was to gather detailed information that could help doctors assess treatment response in the future.
