New imaging study seeks better ways to predict stroke

Summary
This study is looking at 200 people with narrowed neck arteries who have had a mini-stroke or stroke in the past year. Researchers will use special PET/MR scans to measure blood flow and sugar use in the brain. The goal is to find better ways to diagnose and treat these patients, and to see how these measurements change over 12 months.
