Summary

This study involves 25 adults with Crohn's disease who are scheduled for possible surgery. Researchers will use a special PET/MR scan with a collagen-binding tracer to see if it can accurately tell the difference between scar tissue (fibrosis) and active inflammation in narrowed parts of the bowel. The goal is to improve surgical planning and avoid removing bowel that could be treated with medication instead.
