Scientists track tiny doses of experimental drug to map tumors

NCT ID NCT01269593

Summary

This early study aims to understand how a new drug called PUH71 moves through the body and gathers in tumors when given in very small amounts. Researchers will use PET scans to track the drug in patients with various cancers, including lymphoma, myeloma, and solid tumors. The results will help plan future studies to test if PUH71 could be used for cancer treatment or as a tool to help detect tumors with imaging machines.
