Targeted radiation boost aims to fight returning brain cancer
NCT ID NCT05653635
Summary
This study is testing a new way to deliver radiation to patients whose aggressive brain cancer (glioblastoma) has returned. It uses a special PET scan to pinpoint the most active parts of the tumor, then aims a higher dose of radiation directly at those spots. The goal is to better control the cancer's growth and delay it from coming back again.
