First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study collected blood and urine samples from nearly 1,900 male farmers over age 50 to see if pesticide exposure is linked to early signs of blood cancers like multiple myeloma. Participants had no cancer at the start. The goal was to understand how pesticides might trigger these diseases, not to test any treatment.
