Doctors test gentler, tailored treatments for common throat cancer

NCT ID NCT05894083

Summary

This study is testing two personalized approaches to treat early-stage throat cancer caused by HPV. The goal is to control the cancer effectively while using less intense treatments to reduce side effects. One approach starts with surgery, and the other uses tailored radiation and chemotherapy. Researchers will track if the cancer returns and monitor treatment-related side effects.
