VA study maps Veterans' personal triggers to fight addiction
NCT ID NCT06580457
Summary
This study aims to help Veterans with substance use disorders by creating personalized models that show what triggers their substance use and related mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression. Researchers will track 74 Veterans' daily experiences using smartphone surveys to build these individual models, then test whether receiving this personalized feedback helps improve their substance use and mental health outcomes. The goal is to develop better, more tailored treatment approaches for Veterans struggling with addiction.
