Summary

This large study tested a personalized approach to help people quit smoking. It matched 606 Medicare and Medicaid patients to specific quit-smoking medications based on how their bodies process nicotine. The goal was to see if this tailored method worked better than standard care at helping people stay smoke-free for 6 and 12 months.
