Summary
This study tested a personalized version of a standard talk therapy for PTSD, called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). It involved 179 Veterans and aimed to see if tailoring the therapy to address each person's specific life challenges—like work, relationships, or other stressors—could lead to better improvements in daily functioning and quality of life compared to the standard therapy. The goal was to help Veterans not just with PTSD symptoms, but with the broader impact the condition has on their lives.
