Genetic test aims to guide prostate cancer treatment, spare men side effects
NCT ID NCT07282808
Summary
This study is testing if a genetic test on a man's prostate cancer can help doctors choose the best treatment. Men with favorable genetic results will get a targeted therapy that treats only the cancer area to reduce side effects. Men with high-risk genetic results will be advised to get standard, more extensive treatments. The goal is to control cancer effectively while minimizing problems with urination, sexual function, and bowel habits.
