Scientists hunt for your Pain's genetic fingerprint to match the perfect treatment
NCT ID NCT05154695
Summary
This study aimed to discover genetic markers that could predict which physical therapy treatments work best for chronic shoulder and muscle pain. Researchers tested three common treatments—laser therapy, ultrasound, and a sugar-water injection—on 80 patients. By analyzing patients' blood and genes, they hoped to create a future guide for doctors to choose the right treatment for each person from the start.
