Tiny trial tests custom radiation doses for tough liver tumors

NCT ID NCT06302400

Summary

This study tested a personalized radiation treatment for adults with liver cancer that could not be removed by surgery. Doctors first gave a tiny 'scout' dose to see where it went, then calculated a custom therapeutic dose for each patient. The main goals were to check the treatment's safety and see if it was effective at shrinking tumors.
