First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new lab method to choose the most effective chemotherapy drugs for each person with advanced appendix or colorectal cancer that has spread to the abdomen. About 20 participants will have a sample of their tumor tested to see which drugs work best, then receive those drugs directly into the abdomen during surgery. The goal is to see if this personalized approach is practical and can improve treatment.
