Mayo clinic tests custom drug cocktail to target lingering brain cancer cells
NCT ID NCT07025226
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a personalized combination of four drugs is safe and can help control brain tumors (glioma) that have come back or remain after previous treatment. The trial aims to see if doctors can use regular scans and fluid tests to quickly decide if the drug mix is working for each patient and adjust it if needed. It will enroll about 10 adults with a specific type of glioma who have a special device implanted to access spinal fluid.
