Chile tests Smartphone-Guided therapy for tough depression cases
NCT ID NCT07380451
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized, step-by-step therapy approach works better than standard therapy for adults with depression that is complicated by long-standing emotional and relationship difficulties, often linked to past trauma. Researchers will compare the new approach, which uses an algorithm to tailor treatment modules to each person's needs, against usual care in Chile's public mental health system. Participants will attend weekly sessions and use a smartphone app to track daily moods and experiences.
