Text messages aim to tame diabetes and boost mood
NCT ID NCT06769906
Summary
This study tested if sending personalized weekly text messages could help people with type 2 diabetes who use insulin. The messages gave advice based on the person's continuous glucose monitor data and their mood. Researchers compared 46 people who got the messages to those who did not, to see if it improved blood sugar control and satisfaction with treatment.
