Lab-Grown 'Mini-Tumors' could guide better chemo choices
NCT ID NCT07379281
Summary
This study is testing a new method to personalize chemotherapy for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers will grow miniature 3D models of a patient's tumor in the lab to test which chemotherapy drugs work best before treatment begins. They will compare survival rates for patients whose chemo is chosen using this 'organoid' method against those who receive standard, experience-based treatment.
