Lab-Grown Mini-Tumors could pick your best chemo
NCT ID NCT07379255
Summary
This study is testing a new way to choose chemotherapy drugs for patients after surgery for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers will grow tiny 3D models of a patient's own tumor in the lab and test different chemotherapy drugs on them to see which ones work best. The goal is to see if this personalized approach leads to better survival and fewer side effects compared to the standard method of choosing drugs based on doctor experience.
