Scientists train Kids' own cells to hunt their brain cancer

NCT ID NCT06193759

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new, personalized treatment for children with aggressive brain tumors. Doctors will take a sample of the child's tumor, grow special immune cells in a lab that are trained to attack it, and then infuse those cells back into the child's brain. The main goal is to see if this process is safe and possible to do for young patients who have few other options.
