Doctors test custom vaccine to fight returning head and neck cancer
NCT ID NCT06868433
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a personalized vaccine made from a patient's own tumor cells. It aims to see if the vaccine, given alone or with an immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab), is safe and can help the immune system fight advanced head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. The trial will enroll about 40 adults whose cancer has progressed after standard treatments.
