DNA-Guided drugs battle advanced cancer in new trial

NCT ID NCT07346209

Summary

This study aims to see if cancer drugs chosen to match a patient's specific tumor DNA mutations work better than standard treatments. It will involve 280 adults with advanced, hard-to-treat cancers that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. Researchers will compare how long the cancer is kept from getting worse between patients receiving these personalized drug matches and those receiving standard care.
