Lab-Grown tumors could predict best cancer drugs
NCT ID NCT07500259
Summary
This study aims to test whether growing tiny tumor models from a patient's own cancer cells in a lab can help predict which standard cancer drugs will work best for them. Researchers will enroll 188 adults with colorectal or pancreatic cancer who are scheduled for surgery or biopsy. They'll compare the drug responses seen in these lab-grown models with how patients actually respond to their standard treatments.
