Stronger chemo tested to beat tough breast cancer
NCT ID NCT02810743
Summary
This international trial is testing if a more intense, personalized chemotherapy regimen can improve survival and prevent cancer from returning in people with a specific, high-risk type of breast cancer. It compares the standard treatment to a stronger one, which includes a stem cell transplant to help the body recover. The goal is to find a better way to control this aggressive cancer for the long term.
