First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether customizing follow-up treatments—like radiation, surgery, or stronger drugs—based on how well the tumor shrinks after initial therapy can help people with advanced breast cancer live longer without the disease getting worse. About 157 women with cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes will receive a treatment plan adjusted to their individual response. The goal is to improve control of the cancer while reducing side effects.
