Summary

This study tested a new type of brain stimulation, called accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (aiTBS), in 79 adults with treatment-resistant depression. The goal was to see if it could help with anhedonia, or the inability to feel pleasure. The treatment was personalized for each participant and given over a short period.
