Summary

This study aimed to create and test a new tool to help doctors better understand and manage the bowel problems many people face after rectal cancer treatment. Researchers worked with 118 patients to develop a smartphone diary app that tracks symptoms in detail. The goal is to improve diagnosis and follow-up care for this common but often poorly measured side effect.
