New disc implant aims to ease back pain without fusion

Summary
This study is testing a new artificial disc implant for people with chronic low back pain from degenerative disc disease. About 72 adults who have not gotten relief from at least 6 months of other treatments will receive the implant. The goal is to see if the device safely reduces pain and improves function.
