Heart surgery recovery: could less pressure be better?

NCT ID NCT06476613

Summary

This pilot study is testing whether allowing slightly lower blood pressure after heart surgery is safe and beneficial. It will compare two groups: one where blood pressure is kept just above 60 mmHg and another receiving standard care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the need for strong blood pressure medications and shortens ICU stays, while monitoring for any effects on organ function.
