Immunotherapy boosts standard chemo in rare abdominal cancer trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding an immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab) to standard chemotherapy works better than chemotherapy alone for people with peritoneal mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the abdominal lining. About 66 participants will receive either the usual treatment or the usual treatment plus atezolizumab. The goal is to see if the combination shrinks tumors more effectively.
