First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to perform leg artery procedures that may protect the kidneys. Instead of using standard contrast dye, doctors will use carbon dioxide gas to see the arteries. The goal is to prevent serious kidney problems in the 90 days after the procedure. About 1,960 people with leg artery disease and a moderate risk of kidney injury will take part.
