First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a dedicated geriatric peri-operative care team can help adults aged 70 and older recover daily function better than standard care after colorectal cancer surgery. About 90 participants will be randomly assigned to either the specialized team or usual care. The main goal is to see if the team approach improves independence in daily activities three months after surgery.
