Triple-drug attack on bile duct cancer shows promise in early trial

Summary

This study is for people with biliary tract cancer that can be removed with surgery. Researchers are testing a combination of three drugs (gemcitabine, cisplatin, and pembrolizumab) given before and after surgery to see if it is safe and helps shrink the tumor. About 27 adults will take part in this phase 2 trial at Johns Hopkins.
