First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study aims to find out how often atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) happens after heart surgery and who is most at risk. About 150 adults having planned open-heart surgery will wear a small heart monitor patch to track their heart rhythm. The results will help doctors better predict and manage this common complication.
