Crown off or on? new study tests best way to clean infected implants

Summary
This study looks at whether taking off the prosthetic crown makes non-surgical cleaning more effective for gum disease around dental implants (peri-implantitis). About 36 adults with one infected implant will be randomly assigned to cleaning with or without crown removal. Researchers will measure gum pocket depth, bleeding, and bone levels over 12 months to see which approach works better.
