Summary
This study tests whether temporarily removing the prosthetic crown before non-surgical cleaning improves treatment for peri-implantitis, a gum infection around dental implants. Thirty-six adults with at least one affected implant will be randomly assigned to cleaning with or without crown removal. Researchers will measure gum pocket depth, bleeding, and bone levels over 12 months to see which approach works better.
