First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two methods to guide balloon treatment for blocked leg arteries in people with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (severe pain or wounds). One method uses standard X-ray images; the other adds a thin pressure wire to measure blood flow. The goal is to see which approach better improves blood supply to the foot and helps wounds heal. About 100 adults will take part and be followed for 6 months.
