This study tested whether PepZinGI, a zinc-L-carnosine supplement, can reduce heartburn triggered by food. Fifty adults with frequent heartburn completed two one-week treatment periods (PepZinGI and placebo) remotely, using wearable devices and surveys to track symptoms and sleep.
