New combo shows promise for rare blood cancer

NCT ID NCT03598998

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tested a combination of two drugs (pembrolizumab and pralatrexate) in 13 people with peripheral T-cell lymphoma that had returned or not responded to prior treatment. The goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combo could shrink tumors. The approach uses one drug to block cancer cell growth and another to help the immune system attack the cancer.
