Summary
This study tests whether adding metformin (a common diabetes drug) to pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) can help shrink tumors in people with advanced head and neck cancer that has spread. About 21 participants whose cancer cannot be cured with surgery or radiation will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the drugs work together to improve the immune system's ability to fight the cancer.
