Immune booster combined with radiation shows promise for cervical cancer
NCT ID NCT03144466
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This early-phase study tested adding the immune-boosting drug pembrolizumab to standard chemoradiation for people with locally advanced cervical cancer. The goal was to see if the combination was safe and could help the immune system fight cancer more effectively. Only one person enrolled before the study was stopped, so results are very limited.
