Researchers survey survivors to uncover hidden health costs of uterine cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT04634617

Summary

This study aims to understand how common pelvic floor problems are and how they affect quality of life in women who have been treated for uterine cancer. Researchers are comparing survivors who had different treatments (like surgery with or without radiation) to a group of women without cancer who also had a hysterectomy. By having participants fill out detailed questionnaires, the study seeks to learn about long-term side effects like pain and sexual dysfunction to improve future care.
