Can a simple exercise combo ease pelvic organ prolapse symptoms?

NCT ID NCT07440875

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding hypopressive exercises to standard pelvic floor muscle training helps women aged 45-65 with mild pelvic organ prolapse. About 46 married, postmenopausal women with stage I or II prolapse will be split into two groups: one doing standard exercises alone, the other adding hypopressive moves. The goal is to see if the combo improves muscle strength, reduces pain during sex, and boosts quality of life over one month.
