First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding special 'hypopressive' exercises to standard pelvic floor muscle training can better improve muscle strength, reduce pain during sex, and boost quality of life in women with early-stage pelvic organ prolapse. About 46 married women aged 45-65 with stage I or II prolapse will be split into two groups and treated for one month. The goal is to find a simple, non-surgical way to manage this common condition.
