First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a device that uses gentle electrical pulses to relax pelvic floor muscles in women with chronic pelvic pain. About 60 women will receive either standard care (education and exercise) or the electrical stimulation, delivered by a nurse or a doctor. The goal is to see if the device reduces pain and if nurses can deliver it as effectively as specialists.
