Simple exercises tested to ease a common and distressing MS symptom
NCT ID NCT06805331
Summary
This study tested whether a specific pelvic floor muscle exercise program could help women with multiple sclerosis (MS) who experience urinary incontinence. Forty-six women with MS were split into two groups: one group performed the exercises three times daily for three months, while the other group did not. Researchers measured changes in incontinence severity and its impact on quality of life to see if the training provided a helpful, non-drug option for managing this symptom.
