Summary
This observational study in a gynecology clinic aims to see if a woman's central sensitization (a measure of how sensitive her nervous system is) is linked to symptoms of pelvic floor disorders like prolapse or incontinence. About 359 women will fill out questionnaires about their symptoms and quality of life. The study does not test any treatment, but hopes to better understand the connection between nerve sensitivity and pelvic floor health.
