First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a substance called polyethylene glycol (PEG) can help reconnect damaged nerves in the arm more quickly and safely than standard surgery alone. About 40 adults with severe nerve injuries will be randomly assigned to receive either PEG plus surgery or surgery alone. The goal is to see if PEG reduces complications and improves recovery of movement and feeling.
