Can Student-to-Student teaching better warn future health workers about hidden smoke dangers?

NCT ID NCT07473245

Summary

This study aims to see if peer-led education is more effective than traditional teaching at increasing knowledge about secondhand and thirdhand tobacco smoke among university students training in elderly care. Researchers will compare two groups of students—one receiving education from trained peers and another from standard instructors—measuring their awareness before, immediately after, and three weeks following the training. The goal is to find the best way to educate future health professionals about these risks to protect both themselves and the vulnerable elderly they will serve.
